Today from 7th April, Rwandan and friends of Rwanda are remembering and commemorating the victims of the 1994 genocide that happened in 1994. On this 28th Anniversary, the theme is ” Remember and rebuild. ”
Rwanda Resilience and Grounding Organization (RRGO) continues to support the Rwanda community to build resiliency to trauma through Community Resiliency Model. It is the sensitive and challenging week where most Rwandans, especially survivors of genocide, experience cries related to genocide.
RRGO volunteers will be present in different locations in Rwanda, including Huye, Nyamagabe, Muhanga Kamonyi districts, and Kigali city. They are trained to support the community, especially in this challenging time, so that we decrease the rate of crises.
