UWASE UMUTONI Honorine is an Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Officer for Rwanda Resilience and grounding organization (RRGO). Her responsibilities involve advocating people, youth and children with disabilities. She ensures equality and equality in RRGO
She received her Bachelor’s Degree with honour in Computer Sciences at Department of Computer Science, School of ICT, College of Science and Technology at the University of Rwanda. She is currently volunteering at the Rwanda Resilience and Grounding Organization. She is experienced in Computation and Information. She is engaged in the research project entitled “Green Space and Mental Health in Rwanda: Cross-sectional Mixed Method” being conducted by the Samuel Habimana, Paul Draus, Salman Qureshi, Juliette Roddy, Emmanuel Biracyaza, and Eugene Rutembesa. Honorine is passionate about open science and the potential it has to revolutionize the research community. Concerning her daily activities, she is interested in developing and applying machine learning and natural language processing techniques to solve problems in a variety of domains, including social networks. While there, she has been an intern at the Rwanda Resilience and Grounding Organization (RRGO) for earning various experiences and skills that will help her to become the future competent research in both domains of social sciences and technology.
