Today from 7th April, Rwandan and friends of Rwanda are remembering and commemorating the victims of the 1994 genocide that happened in Rwanda. On this 28th Anniversary, the theme is ” Remember and rebuild. “
Rwanda Resilience and Grounding organization(RRGO) continues to support the Rwanda community to build resiliency to trauma through Community Resiliency Model. This is an emotional crises week where most Rwandans, especially survivors of genocide, experienced trauma and emotional crises related to genocide.
RRGO volunteers will be more in Rwanda, including Nyamagabe district, Muhanga district, Kamonyi, Kigali city, Huye district, and Kigali city. They are trained to support the community, especially in this challenging time.
RRGO would like to share the ” Home (ichillapp.com) application developed by Trauma Resource Institue, which can be used to learn self-care in case of crisis. We wish all Rwandans to remember and be resilient.
